But what does it mean for your business?

It means you can receive payments for new eligible employees you hire between the 7th of October 2020 and the 6th of October 2021. For you to receive the payments, eligible employees must be aged 16 to 35 years and they need to increase both your total employee headcount and payroll.

So, where do you start?

First, you’ll need to check that both your business and your new employees are eligible.

Next, you’ll need to register using ATO online service the Business Portal or your registered tax agent, i.e weeee can do this for you

Are you eligible ?

We can do a free eligibility check on your organization. If we find you are eligible, then you can engage us for your service. If you are eligible we can make a claim every three months for you while you sit back and relax. for up to 12 months from the date a new eligible employee starts work.

What if you were eligible before, but have not claimed yet?

As per the ATO’s information, as long as you report within the STP reporting due date and claim within the claim period, you can claim for the employee you have missed out to claim.
